Bare Escentuals Brush

Since discovering mineral makeup 2 years ago, I tried many brands. Some were very good and others were not. Some were just ok. After trying many brands I finally had something to compare them against, so these tests may be more complete.

Bare Escentuals is a very popular brand. In fact, they could be oldest company of mineral makeup. They started in San Francisco in 1976, so they were offering a more natural alternative for nearly 30 years. Their advertising is the most popular on infomercials earning the nickname "Infomercial Mineral Makeup. You could see the strings on Home Shopping Network. Affiliates sell them on eBay or their own websites personal. It is a popular brand and is often the first sign someone tries when they choose mineral makeup. It was the first brand I tried after having seen a late night infomercial.

I got a two foundations, mineral veil and warmth, and three brushes for about $ 60 plus postage. This is actually the ID Bare Minerals brand, but they are the same entity. I chose the game of Light Foundation.

After trying everything I could think of, including detergents, and nothing did, it finally occurred to me to test my makeup. And of course, is what it was. I dumped from my routine then, and made some research. There I learned that the two things I disliked about the constitution (the itching and brightness) were probably caused by the ingredient bismuth oxychloride.

Thus, when introduced Bare Escentuals mineral makeup for me, it appeared to be a brand I could not use.
