How do I install a new belt on my Kirby Generation 3 Vacuum?

A friend gave this vacuum to me and the belt broke but I can not understand where the belt is it? "I took the front off the depression and turned the knob before the belt before I filed. So I removed the bottom plate of the front of the room under vacuum and removed the brush roll, but I can not always know where the belt goes and how my new install. Does anyone know about this? Thank you.

Http: / / www.info-vacuum-cleaner.com/kirby-vac-oldbelt.php or follow these instructions: With Kirby upright push the lever toe-touch all the way to the floor to raise Kirby reports as high as it goes. Exposing the nozzle on Kirby by raising the ceiling lights. Press the belt tension using the handle L-shaped on the belt lifter turning completely to the left (counterclockwise) until the red arrows line up. Unlock lever blocking the top of the nozzle and remove the nozzle of the device. Unlock the cover plate by winning the two latches on the rear of the nozzle and remove the nozzle. Note the setting brush roll, which is indicated by a numeral or a series of notches. (See next question for more information on setting brush roll.) Turn the belt lifter to the right (clockwise) until the green arrows line up to release the belt Lifter belt hook. Remove brushroll. Slide the old belt off and replace it with a new belt. Replace brushroll to each end is on the same setting. Replace the cover plate and making sure the new belt is at the center of the brushroll turn weightlifter belt to the left (counterclockwise) until the red arrows line up. (it will be difficult to turn, as it is a new belt that you are stretching) re-attach the nozzle to the Kirby locking up. Once it is locked on Kirby, turn weightlifter belt to the right (clockwise) until the green arrows line up. This will release the belt Off The Hook and the drive shaft.
