Hepa Air Cleaner

HEPA is an abbreviation for High Efficiency Particulate flame. These filters are used extensively in air purifiers and vacuum cleaners. HEPA initially been developed and used by the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission in 1940 to prevent the spread of airborne radioactive contaminants. It was used in the Manhattan Project developing the atomic bomb. He remained a gadget ordered till the end of the Second World War, after which he has not been filed and made commercially.

HEPA air purifiers are manufactured by a number of different producers. Must be able to distinguish between a cleaner and a true HEPA HEPA as cleaner. While the latter are cheaper, the former are more expensive but come with a warranty. Some filters can also require frequent change of parts and therefore are not really cheap in the long term.

The smaller the particle, the more it turns and is slower to spread in the draft. Compacting works when a particle is so great that it is unable to adapt to sudden changes in the filter inlet. Because of its inertia, the particle continues on its original path, hits, and is trapped by the filter fiber. Therefore, the chances of reaching the fiber filter is larger. Keep in mind that these filters are only effective for particles in suspension and can be depended on, only for a healthy environment.
