If you suffer from allergies, you probably know that you keep your house as allergen free as possible. The union of air borne PET allergens include: animal dander, pollen spores, mold and mildew. To eliminate these allergens at home, you will probably need an air purifier. Air Purifiers are generally classified into 3 types, ionic, HEPA and UV. Choose one of these three is the key to eliminating the allergens that make you mad. However, to understand what system air purifier purchase, you must understand how air purifiers work.

So how does Ionizer Work? Here in this article, we briefly discuss its basic principles and what are disadvantages and advantages.

Ionic air purifiers, also called ionizers, are built with ion generators negative. These generators continually send a stream of negative ions. Negative ions are atoms or molecules that have lost an electron. These Negative ions are attracted by particles suspended in the positive air in the air. Consequently, negative ions attach themselves to positive particles in air. This causes particles in the ionic air to become heavy. Finally, they fall to the ground because of their own weight. This removes all kinds of particles air.

Thus, an ionic air purifier uses electricity to charge the spores and dust particles in the air. Based on the principles, these particles are then drawn into a collection plate inside the air purifiers or fall on the surface your home.

If there is a collection plate inside your ionic air purifier, you need to wipe the plate air purifier regularly. Remember that the plates must be cleaned regularly to ensure that the air purifier to be effective.

If no, you must vacuum and dust daily to remove allergens from your home. Because almost all surfaces in a room are positively charged. Therefore, the particles falling from the air ion are attracted to the surfaces of the room and the regular business in the room can easily stir the particles back up. Consequently, the harmful particles are returned to the air. Moreover, the area around the purifier ionic air tends to get dark and dirty.

In May 2005, Consumer Reports has published a study about ionic air purifiers. According to their research, air purifiers ionic failed to clean the air. In addition, they discovered they could actually add harmful levels of ozone in air. Unfortunately, high levels of ozone are toxic. In fact, it has been shown to damage lungs and airways.

So if you want to keep you air healthy, an ionic air purifier is probably not the best answer. In fact, your goal should not be to clean the air after it becomes unhealthy. Instead, take steps to keep the air healthy in the first place. One way to this is to get rid of carpets and rugs, which collect and hold harmful pollutants.

In general, a system of air purifier may work well, but maintenance air purifier can be trying. If you have allergies, cleaning the collection plate dust and pollen can be a real problem. However, alternatives such as HEPA filtration system and ultraviolet air purifier system can be best for you.
