The Sanitaire Commercial SC689-A is a well built machine standing building hotels, restaurants and offices. Its 5.0 amp motor and EZ Kleen dust cup that a heavy vacuum device capable of handling areas that see a lot of traffic. It is strictly an old school design, but for $ 200-250 dollars is a choice solid.

This vacuum is a nice camera in search of public spaces. The handle is chrome steel and the Goblet of land or a cloth bag replacement is in black and white. The base is black with a bumper protective thick red vinyl. White 3 son grounded cord is a beautiful length of 30 feet. Appearance general is clean and neat, which makes a machine that looks good when he gets the job done.

The Sanitaire Commercial SC689-A is a machine that has some very traditional features, but can be accessorized to fit individual needs. Steel chrome handle for heavy machine overall (15 pounds), but feels as if it was built for longevity. The unit can be accessorized with is a section of land or model of filter bag. The dirt cup is no paper bag and is ideal for environments not normally dusty. This is a good option, because no paper bags are required as the dust cup is simply empty. The model filter bag is good for environments where quality Air is a concern and has a double zip on the cloth bag for easy accessibility.

This machine has a heavy engine that is easily accessible through the plastic cover on the front of the base and parts are easy to find. The roller brush is durable easy to replace bearings and is easy to remove for cleaning. There is an aluminum plate that covers the bottom of the machine, but it is not a separate enclosure for the belt. This can lead a problem of having to replace the belt more often because the sharp debris such as staples can cut the rubber belt during its passage through the bottom of the device.

While the Commercial Sanitaire SC689-A is a spiffy-looking machine, one drawback is the sound (78 decibels) unit product when it is running. For a commercial grade vacuum cleaner, the engine leans toward the weaker side of trucks to 5.0 amps. Another complaint is that wind up the cord clips are not very resistant and have a tendency to break.

Overall, the Sanitaire Commercial SC689-A is a great value for the price. The engine is durable and solid unit. Additional features that are redemptive include 6 parameters adjusting the height of the carpet industry standard is 4 parameters. The adjustment handle has 3 parameters. Other advantages are easy was achieve the on / off switch located on the handle and the fact that this vacuum is easy to assemble.
